Why Choose Classic Spotted Gum Hybrid Flooring

Classic Spotted Gum captures the bold, high-contrast look that made spotted gum famous. Rich amber and honey tones with darker streaks give the floor real depth, so it becomes a feature of the room. Because it is waterproof SPC hybrid, you can use this warm Australian timber look in kitchens and family areas without worrying about spills.

• 7mm SPC hybrid: a 5.5mm rigid stone-polymer core plank plus 1.5mm attached IXPE underlay.
• Waterproof core: suitable for kitchens, laundries, bathrooms, living areas and hallways.
• Long 1524 x 228mm planks: with a four-sided painted bevel and EIR embossing, so the texture follows the grain.
• Unilin click system: planks lock tightly along every edge for a stable floating floor.
• R10 slip rated and FloorScore certified: and suitable over underfloor heating up to 27°C.

Where Classic Spotted Gum Hybrid Flooring Works Best

Classic Spotted Gum suits Australian contemporary, resort-style and modern interiors. It pairs well with white walls, stone benchtops, timber feature walls, cream or grey sofas and plenty of greenery. It is a striking choice for open-plan living areas, entries and commercial spaces.

Installation and Care

Maple Floors supplies and installs Classic Spotted Gum hybrid flooring across Melbourne’s South East, including Rowville, Knoxfield, Wantirna, Glen Waverley and surrounding suburbs. Our installers check and prepare your subfloor before laying, for a flat, quiet and long-lasting result. Because SPC hybrid is a floating click floor, there is no glue to cure, so rooms can be used straight after installation. Learn more about our flooring installation service.

Caring for your floor is simple. Sweep or vacuum regularly, then wipe with a damp mop and a pH-neutral cleaner. Use felt pads under furniture legs and place a mat at external doors to protect the surface from grit. Avoid steam mops, wax and harsh chemicals, as they can dull or damage the surface over time.
